Interview with a new defenseman of our club:

-Evgeny, what do you think about your transaction to Salavat Yulaev?

- It is kind of different for me, course I used to play for many years in one club Metallurg.I have only positive thoughts and emotions.  I am happy to be in the hockey club with such a great history and big goals.  I will try to do my best to help my team to achive their goals.

- For the first time in your career you left your native hockey club.  Is it difficlut for you mentally?   

- It is a new challenge for me, new step in my career. I am ready for it and I do not think that this would be a problem.  I am moving to Ufa with a pleasure and good ambitions.

- For your carreer you had to play a lot of times at the Ufa Arena. What is your emotions about those games?

- All the games played against Salavat Yulaev were really dramatic. I would say, we have kind of derby. At Ufa Arena always great atmosphere and great fans. When we play  against Salavat Yulaev in Magnitogosrk,  Salavat Yulaev`s fans always  come to root for their team.

- Did you already discuss you transfer with Salavat Yulaev`s players?

- I did not have a chance yet, but all the guys from Ufa who I know, say that it is a great organisation and team alaways welcome new comers.

- Did you discuss with the management and coaching staff your role in the team?

- I think we will discus it later ovet the phone, or we will have a meeting. No problems should arise, these are working moments.

- Was it important for you to play somewhere close to your native town?

- The most important for me it is to play for the club with a big ambitions and goals and win the Gagarin Cup with them. So sport achivements is always on the 1^st place. But it coincided that Ufa is located near Magnitogorsk, and it will be doubly pleasant to play near the house.
