Tonight Salavat Yulaev held match as a part of 10^th home stand of the KHL regular season 2020/21. Tomi Lamsa`s team played against Severstal.

The coaching staff did not make a lot of changes in the line-ups – instead of forward Solodukhin and forward Bashkirov appeared Semenov and Pimenov.

 First 15 minutes we would not call bright hockey. Both teams mostly played individually. The opponent opened a scoring table. This puck gave a booster to our team, but we did not manage to tie the score in the first.

The second Salavat Yulaev took the lead, despite the shorthanded start.  Alekseev's solo passage from his zone ended with his own goal - 1: 1! Right after this moment the speed of game increased and Severstal started to play aggressively. But in a couple line changes later, Granlund scored -2:2.

After this puck host team again played the usual combinational, attacking hockey, which allowed turning on the red light outside the guests' net for the third time. Kadeikin assisted Teemu Hartikainen to score – 3:2.

The last stanza we started to play with man advantage.

Further, the game proceeded, as they say, according to a swing scenario: the opponents literally took turns taking the initiative, and in such hockey it was impossible to single out someone. However, the patient and cold-blooded Salavat Yulaev found their chance in such a game, having waited for the error of the Severstal in their zone – Markus Granlund scored -4:2.
