Today Ufa Salavat Yulaev held his last home game of the 3^rd home series of regular KHL championship 2020/21 season.

Tomi Lamsa`s squad played against Nur – Sultan Barys.

Three imports came finished their isolation period and came back for the game: Juha Metsola, Sakari Manninen, Teemu Hartikainen and Russian players – Danil Bashkirov, Vladimir Zharkov and Alexander Kadeikin.

Host team started 1^st period more active than guests. We leaded and often were in the opponent`s zone.  But they did not create any scoring chances.

In the second stanza situation did not change on the ice. Salavat Yulaev played number one and did not give the opponent any chances. Kugryshev and Vorobev assisted to Shakir Mukhamadullin- 1:0. In the middle of the second stanza Tomi Lamsa`s team got 5 minutes PP, but unfortunately they did not capitalize on PP.  Alexander Alekseyev made a beautiful wrist a shot and   scored his first goal for KHL – 2:0. After that, the guests perked up a little and carried out several good attacks, but the defense of the Ufa team did not flinch.

At the start of the third frame, the guests began aggressive attack on the Metsola net , and soon the Nursultanchans managed to equalize the score. The Ufa hockey players immediately added to the activity, but the game was approximately equal. There were scoring chances, however, the numbers on the scoreboard have not changed. Well, everything was decided in the overtime, where the guests capitalized on PP.
