«That was an exciting, real play- offs game – fighting and kept us on the toes until the last seconds. We tried to play aggressively, but Avangard in the same time played real good in defense and used their moments. Great, that we managed to tie the score at the end and pulled out the victory in overtime ».

«Congrats to Ufa for the overtime win. We did not get the start which we wanted . I felt that we were pretty much on the heels in the first period and in the second period we got a little life and 3rd period was our best period. They got time goal off the  rebound  . that kind of put doubts in our mind . I liked the way we played the overtime. We had a great kill I felt that we could have built a  little momentum . But as many overtime games decided. They shot basically from impossible angle , went off from the Franson stick and the game is over. Like we have said it from tne start – we have  a lot of respect for the Ufa team. We know them very well/. We matched last year in the play =offs. It is going to be a long play offs.»
